Course Description

The Siebel Administration Essentials course is ideal for students starting a out as a Siebel Administrator. Students will learn to install, deploy, administer, monitor and update Siebel CRM. This course is applicable to Siebel IP 17 and higher.

Building on a solid core of Siebel CRM technical principles such as architecture and application fundamentals, you will gain a solid understanding of the Siebel administration toolset and related tasks.

This includes using the Siebel Modular Deployment Engine (MDE) to install and update Siebel environments and using Siebel Management Console (SMC) to configure and deploy Siebel enterprises.

Siebel Gateway Cluster and Zookeeper are discussed in depth.

The course covers administrative tasks such as configuring and managing a Siebel Enterprise, including logging and monitoring techniques as well as diagnosing performance with Siebel Application Response Measurement (SARM).

Aiming at a broad understanding of Siebel CRM, this course teaches Siebel administrators the concepts of the Siebel Repository, Integration and Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM).

The Siebel Migration Application and how to use it to deploy configurations between environments is covered in detail. The course is rounded out with an overview of containerization and cloud deployment techniques such as Siebel Cloud Manager (SCM).

The training also covers modern Siebel CRM features such as Intelligent Data Archival, Coherence Enterprise Cache and Repository Updates.
